I’ve been fortunate to have garnered significant local media attention over the past five years as a result of several strategic marketing and communication campaigns that featured compelling press releases and pitches to local news outlets.
Food & Beverage Entrepreneur

In 2019, I left my corporate gig to take the leap into self-employment and I started a neighborhood pizzeria in my hometown of Sioux Falls. I found the location for the pizzeria on a dog walk, so it just felt natural to name the business after my French Bulldog, Sunny, and to incorporate dogs into our brand experience. I designed every single touchpoint with intention and found fun ways to make as many things about the business as socially shareable as possible.
After four years of success with Sunny's, I decided to double-down on entrepreneurship and create The Orion Pub in downtown Sioux Falls. Downtown was lacking a classic brewpub and I saw an opportunity to create an unpretentious, vintage dive bar that was intentionally made to look like its been around for decades and everything that I've designed for the pub has been crafted to possess a nostalgic look and feel - like something out of the 70s or 80s.
